Matthew Groch is responsible for directing the Global Analytics and IT practice areas of StrategyOne, the research division of Edelman Public Relations.
He is commissioned with managing the division's multi-national media analysis operations, leading all product development initiatives, and overseeing the implementation of strategic technology solutions for the division's mission-critical business processes.
Prior to joining Edelman/StrategyOne, Matthew has focused on the strategic implementation of technologies across a broad spectrum of industries, including healthcare, telecommunications, high-speed discrete manufacturing, and capital markets. Further, Matthew has been an active contributor to the information technology community at large and has co-authored a book on the design of interactive web-based media, Web Development Using Flash/Generator. In 2005, Matthew was awarded the annual Chookaszian Prize in Risk Management by Northwestern University for best paper in the area of financial risk management.
Matthew holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
