Telephone Surveys
All of StrategyOne’s telephone surveys are custom-designed in order to meet all of our clients’ research needs.
Telephone surveys include live telephone interviewers and state-of-the-art CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interview) programming.
The research team leader, lead analyst and project director all are required to review draft surveys and final reports, and telephone sample (RDD, listed and specialty) is purchased directly from Survey Sampling Incorporated (SSI), the premier telephone sample supplier.
Methodological Rigor and Quality Assurance
- In order to maximize value and satisfaction with the final research product, we work with our clients to ensure that the research objectives are clearly defined and printed on the final, approved, workplan. StrategyOne staff is required to map the findings back to the initial research objectives.
- StrategyOne staff is required to (a) review any relevant research conducted for the client in the past and (b) search applicable public opinion archives for previous, relevant research before drafting a survey.
- Enriched sample data used in micro-targeting studies is purchased from Acxiom, the top data/list compiler in the field.
- All surveys utilize detailed screening questions to ensure that the final dataset mirrors the target population universe.
- In order to ensure that the final dataset is projectable, StrategyOne utilizes stratified sampling for gender, age and region/geography for general population studies and more complex sample stratification for niche populations.
- To eliminate order bias, all survey questions in series are randomized and all forced choice questions are rotated.
All telephone surveys employ Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI), ensuring that live voice interviewers stay on script.
-
All survey research is pre-tested, client timetables permitting, and the results of these small pre-tests are used to improve the quality of the survey instrument.
-
Our trained staff members use both descriptive and inferential statistical tools to analyze the results and are skilled in correlation and regression analysis.
-
Our final quantitative research report includes (1) a detailed analysis with explanatory charts and graphs and strategic recommendations, (2) topline results, (3) cross tabulations, and (4) verbatim responses if collected.
